Sustainability

At Outsource Clothing we are passionate about creating alternatives to fast fashion. We aim to source our clothes in sustainable ways, primarily by the use of second-hand clothing platforms. This because we want to play our part in helping increase the life of the clothing that is produced and lessen the demand for fast fashion.

Mental Health

The clothes we wear can have a positive impact on our mental health by allowing us to express ourselves and feel good. However, fashion can also be a source of anxiety and stress.

As a company we want to emphasise how important it is for us to make our mental health and wellbeing a priority! We believe looking your best shouldn't cause stress - this is why Outsource Clothing was born, to create a stress-free service that helps you make the fashion choices that suit you.

How it began:

Two things I love are buying clothing and finding bargains. I love the feeling when you find the perfect item to add into your wardrobe rotation. Equally, I know the sinking feeling when you make the mistake of looking at the price and all the hope you first felt about owning that item completely disappears. This then leads to the spiralling process of justification, desperate budgeting and asking yourself if being able to afford food this week is actually essential - anyone relate?

After repeating this cycle for most of my life I started looking into solutions but two barriers kept coming up: time and effort.

To avoid these barriers, most people follow one of two ways to fulfil their fashion needs:

1) Buy cheap, low quality, mass produced clothes and feed into the model of fast fashion.

2) Bite the bullet and pay the huge price to avoid the endless scrolling and tabs included in launching a price comparison investigation.

Both not great solutions...this is where Outsource Clothing comes in!

1) We'll do all the sourcing for you so you can get the high quality clothes you want but for an affordable price.

2) You will be supporting sustainable methods of buying clothes rather then maintaining the demand for fast fashion.
